“Guerrilla artwork” is typically defined as public, sometimes-anonymous imagery, often with a direct call to action. They are slapped or created on streets or high traffic areas of walkability, and frequently include stickers, wheatpaste, tags, and posters.

“Décollage” can be defined as the opposite of collage: To break down, to fray, shred, waterlog, dilapidate, and is associated to the overall act of wearing-&-tearing an otherwise clean body of work.

This series seeks to capture existing slaps across Colorado as they currently appear. Through fine art photography, we're able to examine works that have been built up over time, and as they naturally deteriorate from moisture, wind, sunlight, and other environmental factors resulting from their life in an outdoor setting.
